“Who says you can’t leap a fence wearing loafers?”

I got my start working in chain retail clothing stores during university. I decided if I was going to stay in the industry, I wanted to focus on high end men’s fashion, especially tailored clothing. I consider clothes to be an expression of who you are, and I’m proud to have evolved Burrows into a unique specialty store with a multitude of looks. When people look good they feel good. And, I love helping them.

"You measure a man by more than his inseam."

The most rewarding part of my work is the relationships that I’ve developed over the years. Building confidence through clothing is an art and every detail matters. We get to know your likes and dislikes, what fits you best, what colours work for you and we actually choose collections with specific clients in mind. The way I see it, it’s not just customer and salesman, but gentleman to gentleman.

“Fashion is my language of choice.”

I believe clients aren’t just buying products, they’re investing in a relationship. Having spent more than 30 years in men’s wear, I know the value of a thoughtful consultation. I’m fluent in all looks and I speak “business casual,” “black tie,” and “job interview,” just to name a few. My clients trust my knowledge, taste and skill to help them perfect their personal style and project confidence in everything they do.

“In my world, a perfect fit is everything.”

When I first moved to Canada, I started my own tailoring business. Soon enough, I was recognized as a tailor by a well-known men’s wear retail chain, still I longed to build my skills further. One day, I stopped into Burrows as I had heard good things about them. What I love most about working here is tailoring a garment from start to finish and seeing the results on our clients. I have found my perfect fit and now I’m here to help you find yours.

“There is no such thing as being overdressed.”

At work, they call me “The Renaissance Man,” and I get why. Renaissance by definition means “a revival or renewed interest in something.” Every time I help a client find the perfect fit that embodies and expresses their individual style, I know I’m helping them to love fashion as much as I do. It is, without question, the most rewarding part of my job.
